About AVOHK
|
AVOHK was formed in 1982, and is dedicated to running, swimming and cycling (but mainly running). We are members of:
- the Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association
- World Masters Athletics
- Asia Masters Athletics
- the Association of International Marathons & Road Races.
- the Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association
We organize nine events each year for Hong Kong's running community. We organize Hong Kong teams to participate in veterans track meets overseas and our members participate in many other events, both in Hong Kong and abroad.
We are the HK representative organisation for WMA and organise a team to participate in the WMA games held every two year the next meet being 2009 in Finland.
