2022 CHINA COAST MARATHON

SADLY THE 2022 CHINA COAST MARATHON COULD NOT BE HELD ON 16 JANUARY. 

THIS IS DUE TO THE NEW COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS ANNOUNCED BY THE HKSAR GOVERNMENT WHICH PROHIBITS LARGE SPORTING EVENTS AS FROM 7th JANUARY  2022.

All registered runners have been sent a T-shirt and memento and will receive a HK$200 refund.

We thank all the runners who entered the race for their support, our T shirt, number bib and medal sponsors, Gammon Construction Ltd. and Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency Ltd. and all the volunteers who were looking forward to making the race a great day for everyone.

LATEST UPDATE

We are now processing the partial refunds of the entry fee.  Runners who entered the 2022 China Coast Marathon will receive an email with the subject line “Your order receipt from Athletic Veterans of Hong Kong“, confirming that the refund  is being processed.

G’day CCM marathoners! 

Good news – all refunds have now been processed and runners should see the refund on the next credit card statement. Let us know, of course, if nothing appears.

This hopefully will be our final update. Obviously, all of us here in AVOHK are disappointed that we had cancel at the last minute. But we equally want to extend our sincere thanks for your wonderful support. We look forward to better times when we can all compete again!
