UPDATE:  CHINA COAST MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON 2023

As the Cap 599 social distancing restrictions are still in place, we deeply regret that we have to announce the cancellation of the 2023 China Coast Marathon and Half Marathon. 

We know that many in the running community will be disappointed by this news, especially as a number of large events have recently been held in Hong Kong, giving us some hope for the race season.  Sadly, the restrictions relating to the organisation of road races are still in place.  The uncertainty caused by the continued need to apply for an exemption to these restrictions and the very tight time frame for exemptions being granted make the financial risk too great for our club.  The additional burden of these restrictions on race organisers is also not practical for our volunteers. 

We do remain committed to organising races as soon as these restrictions are lifted and will communicate any developments through this website.
