Health & Safety
The Athletic Veterans of Hong Kong Kong (AVOHK) is fully committed to the health and safety of its members, volunteers, racers and committee members.
Our races are operated with the full permissions and authorisations of local government bodies (such as the Health Department, Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department) and the HK police – this applies to all our races.
In recent times, with the COVID19 pandemic, we have implemented additional stringent measures to ensure our events comply with the highest standards, standards, which are regulated by our local authorities and updated periodically. Race participants are required to have been vaccinated with two does at least 14 days prior to and event. Additionally, race participants should take a negative PCR test 48hrs in advance. Vaccination certificates and proof of negative tests are required to be shown on arrival. You will need to have a temperature check on arrival. Mask wearing is essential prior to and immediately after a race. We also encourage social distancing as you wait for an event to start.
Sadly we may not host an awards ceremony at the present. If you are eligible for an award, then this will be sent to you within a few weeks after a race.
Thank you for your kind understanding.
