2025 AVOHK Reservoir Series – Race 2 – Aberdeen – Results

Thank you to all the runners that turned out for Race 2 of the 2025 AVOHK Reservoir Series that was held at Aberdeen today 26th October 2025. The weather was glorious and as in Race 1 the Women started first at 0900 and the Men were started 3 minutes later. Christopher Whitehead MO led the runners home in a very speedy time on 51 mins 6 secs, followed by Vaibhav Bhoovarahan MO in 52 mins 15 secs and in 3rd place Robin Alam M45 in 52 mins 34 secs. Other mens age group results well worth mentioning was Rob Henderson M55 who was 5th overall in 53 mins 53 secs and 10th overall Eric To M65 in 1hr 2 mins 37 secs. Both winning their age groups. Justyna Rundle M45 led the women in 1hr 9 mins 2 secs and was 25th overall, followed by Mandy Pao W35 in 1hr 10 mins and in 3rd place overall was Yin Ai WO in 1hr 10 mins 18 secs. Outstanding runs by Margaret Chui W60 who was 5th Lady overall in 1hr 13 mins 49 secs and the ageless Susan Ko W75 who was 57th overall in 1hr 35mins 6 secs. A big thank you again to Race Director Phil Booth and the many AVOHK volunteers who made this race happen. Onto Race 3 and the final race of the series, which will be held at 0900 on Sun 9th Nov 2025 at the beautiful Shing Mun Reservoir.
