AVOHK 5K Series-Race 3-Sat 6th Sept 2025-Wan Chai Gap-Results and Overall Results after 3 races

On a very hot and humid morning, 235 runners set off for the 3rd race of the 2025 AVOHK 5K Series held over Wan Chai Gap and Black’s Link.. The most difficult of the four races. There is a steep climb after the start, rugged terrain in the middle and 700m of downhill to the finish. Chong See Yeung made light work of the course and came home in a very fast 17.19, with Wong Kai Lok 2nd in 18.54 and Sebastian Cotton M35 3rd in 19.00. Hannah Bainbridge W45 led the ladies home again in 22.35 with Chan Suk Ting W35 2nd lady home in 23.28 and 3rd lady was Amie Shuttleworth W40 just behind in 23.29. Good turnout from the runners and some very impressive performances. A big thank to Race Director Freeman Lee and the AVOHK Committee for putting on a wonderful race.
