2026 AVOHK 5K Series – RACE 4 RESULTS AND OVERALL SERIES RESULTS

Race 4 of the 2026 AVOHK 5K Series and the final race in the series was held at South Bay on Sat 12th Sept 2026. 189 runners finished the race, which was held in slightly cooler conditions with a bit of a breeze to assist the runners. Vaibhav Bhoovarahan (MO) led the runners home in 17 mins 6 secs, closely followed by Jayden Liu (MJ15) in 17 mins 10 secs with Atharav Bharambe (MJ15) 3rd in 17 mins 26 secs. Libby Humphreys (M40) led the Ladies home in 19 mins 41 secs, with Colette Whiteoak (L35) 2nd in 20 mins 5 secs and Mary Knapman (L45) 3rd in 20 mins 18 secs. Some great individual masters results. Especially by Susan Ko (L75) who is 80 next year and completed the course in 30 mins 39 secs and Stephen Lau (M75) who has had a brilliant 5k series and finished todays race in 28 mins 29 secs. Thank you to all the runners that turned out and supported the 2026 AVOHK 5k Series. A really big thank you to Freeman Lee the Race Director for putting on a wonderful series (and the coffee today) and a big thank you also to the army of volunteers that came out today and throughout the series to ensure these races could take place.
